With their soft and subtle flavor, preserved lemons add mild zing to countless North African and Mediterranean dishes. These lemons, preserved in salt and lemon juice, taste like nothing else. They turn sour and salty. Try little pieces in greens salads, or tucked into baked sweet potatoes, cooked with greens, or added to a stew or soup. Use the lemons wherever you need a tart, spicy accent.

Good Quality!, By Chef Buddy

The product was packaged very well and arrived quickly. Being that I live in an area where there aren't any local stores that carry preserved lemons, I was happy to find these on Amazon. The quality was really good, but not the best I've ever seen, and being a chef, I've seen several different preserved lemon products. Overall I was happy with the purchase and I would buy these again.

I had never heard of preserved lemons before when I decided to try what I later found out was a Moroccan recipes called Chicken with Lemon and Olives. I think I now have a new addiction as I almost finished all of them. The lemon flavor is mellower than a fresh lemon (and I like fresh lemons) but in combination with the salt still gives it a nice lip puckering sour taste that is good with chicken, couscous, and just as a very salty snack.

These Lemons are excellent for Tagines and any North African cuisine. Also very good sliced in a Martini! For the price I decided to make my own. Takes a month for the Lemons to be preserved. I can wait. Otherwise very good!
