I really wanted to try this garlic crusher after seeing it on the website. Wicked cool design, really sleek looking.A little more difficult to use than I had anticipated. Sometimes the garlic squeaks out from under it. It doesn't mince the pieces as small as I would like, more like tiny little tubes of garlic, similar to uncooked acini de pepe pasta. I prefer that minced garlic be much smaller. As well, you have to scrape the garlic out of the little bowl after it is pressed, and a good bit of the garlic gets stuck in the holes. It is a beautiful piece, but it doesn't function quite as well as I had hoped. I still think I prefer the end results from my old Ikea garlic press over this one.
Totally useless, By Two Rabbits

Having read the other reviews, I was looking forward to replacing my other garlic presses (which are a bit difficult to clean). Now that I've actually tried this very attractive but practically useless device, I'm glad I didn't jump the gun and toss them. This thing is going right in the trash (I can't even imagine donating it). First of all, the holes are gigantic compared to the ones in a standard garlic press, so instead of getting a nice, small mince size, you end up with pretty big pieces. For most recipes, you'd need to take a knife and re-mince it after using this thing. But worse, the garlic doesn't come out of the holes cleanly. It lodges itself in there, so you don't end up with everything going into the pan. Clearly the people who invented this were much more interested in aesthetics than functionality. A waste of money.

I bought this elsewhere (and paid slightly more), but I love this! Very simple design. It's fast, easy, and far easier to clean than any other garlic crusher or mincer I've used. Love it.
