Win a copy of Shauna Sever’s cookbook Real Sweet and a natural sugar baking prize pack, including my very favorite OXO mixing bowls! Comment to win, share for additional chances.
This week on Tori’s Friday Favorites I’m sharing a fantastic new cookbook from my friend Shauna Sever, who some of you may know from her blog The Next Door Baker. A few weeks ago I gave away Pure Vanilla, another fantastic cookbook she wrote that pays homage to vanilla. Her new cookbook, Real Sweet, is filled with sweet-tooth-satisfying recipes that are all made with natural sugars. That’s right, not a single recipe containing refined sugar will be found in the pages of this book. As someone who is always looking for a way to get back to the basics, I love the inspiration. Shauna has also included an easy guide for how to measure and replace refined natural sugars with natural alternatives so that readers can make the switch in other recipes as well. Brilliant!
Today I’m giving away one copy of Shauna’s awesome book. In addition to Real Sweet, one lucky winner will also be receiving a natural sugar baking prize package that includes:
– A trio of natural sugars that are used in the book, including: India Tree Fair Trade Certified Dark Muscovado Sugar, Madhava Organic Coconut Sugar and Coomb’s Family Farms Organic Pure Maple Sugar. All kosher certified for those who are worried about it. 🙂
– My absolute favorite OXO mixing bowls (valued at $59.99!) which you’ll surely recognize from my step-by-step photos. They’re sturdy and amazing – basically the perfect kitchen bowls. I heart them.
