After, but I really recommend these freshly fried if possible, the flavor is best that way.

hi tori-i made the chickpea patties with tahini sauce, the grilled lemon skewers and mooshi’s eggplant for a shabbat lunch and they were all delish esp the eggplant! i found the patties to be loose while forming the shape in my hands (they didnt fall apart in the pan but i thought they would). followed all instructions. should i add a little more egg next time? thx so much!
Hi Alice, no worries. Use 3 cups canned chickpeas to sub for the 1 cup of dry beans. They will be a bit mushier inside, but they will be crispy on the outside, and still very tasty. Let me know how they turn out for you! ๐

Should I freeze before or after frying? I am taking these on a camping trip.

Tori,
Forgive me, but I used canned chick peas.. What’s the measurement for canned ones vs. the dry ones in your recipe?
Thanks much.
Alice.
