Do You have a fun gluten free recipes for my guest ?
Tori Avey says
Elisabeth lots of ideas in this index, click on this link and select Gluten Free Ashkenazi or Gluten Free Sephardic (depending on which dietary restrictions you follow) https://toriavey.com/passover-recipe-index/
Linda Chatterjee says
Almost all Passover food is gluten free-no wheat
Elisabeth Smith says
Thank You Linda I did not know that, and I will check out that linkTori. My daughter gets sever reactions from gluten, especially since she went on a gluten free diet.
Tori Avey says
Linda and Elisabeth, do be careful– what Linda said is partially true, in that there are no leavened grains allowed on Passover which means that many Passover products are grain free. However, traditional matzo (which is unleavened) does contain wheat/gluten, and it is a part of many Passover recipes. Luckily it is now quite easy to find gluten free matzo, it has become much more common in recent years. Stick to the recipes in the gluten free categories to be safe, and make sure you find a good gluten free matzo for the holiday. Happy Passover!
