These recipes sound amazing. This is my first Jewish holiday as I’m in the beginning stages of my conversion. Any advice on how to make the day special for my boyfriend and I? Its our first celebration together.

Hi Tori, I made your saffron rice and the apple cupcakes for the holiday meal last night. Both were wonderful. I even did the little paper cut-outs for them. I was hesitant to make your brisket for my whole extended family meal since my in-laws all tell me I make the best brisket they’ve ever tasted, but I will try your recipe when I’m cooking for my immediate family. The pomigranate sounds really interesting. Thanks for continuing to provide such great recipes and such upbeat vibes, too.
Shana Tova to you,
Diane

What a great re-cap, Tori. I can’t believe it’s already here….I’ve not seen the vegetable stew (and I cannot pronounce it!) so I’m headed over to check it out.
Happy New Year!

OMG. Pomegranate brisket sounds amazing. I’ve done a 5-Spice version, but this sounds perfect for Rosh. This Farfel recipe would be a great compliment if you skipped the saffron rice.
